Demolition Progress – Anyone for Squash

17th June 2015

Today saw a sad day at the Humber Enterprise Park when the demolition team arrived at the two squash courts originally built by Robert Blackburn in the 1940’s. Built to promote healthy living within his workforce and known more recently as buildings 94 and 95 and used to house BAE Systems term contractors, these buildings formed the hub of the sites maintenance strategy for the last 20 years.

Now at the end of their useful life the buildings are being demolished to make may for additional car parking for the council managed Brough Business Centre.
