Demolition Progress – Seat Arming Facility

10th August 2015

As part of the demolition programme, work has now been completed on the demolition of buildings 155 and 156.  Built in 2007 as an explosive manufacturing facility and explosive store respectively, these where made obsolete when BAE Systems moved the final assembly of their Hawk aircraft to their Samlesbury Site in 2012.

Mr Paul Birnie, the former BAE Systems Project Manager who managed the original installation said “whilst it is a sad day, I am really looking forward to what comes next for the development land at the Humber Enterprise Park and wish LC Industrial every success in their future endeavours”.
