Tenant Spotlight – Lift Share

17th June 2015

BAE Systems have recently launched Liftshare for BAE employees and over the coming weeks they are having a big push to promote it across the site. BAE Systems believe that it would be a good idea if they could share it with the businesses on the Humber Enterprise Park therefore more details are included below:

The BAE Systems Liftshare scheme has been refreshed and expanded to now cover Brough. It has already been a big hit with commuters for several years at Warton and Samlesbury sites with over 1000 employees already registered on the scheme.

At Warton alone in 2015, confirmed car sharers are forecasted to collectively save:

372,327 miles
, 93,026
, And 122.6 tonnes of Co2.

The Liftshare online tool is free to use and matches employees with other employees who are conducting the same journeys – with the aim to encourage lift sharing to and from work. The refreshed online system is available now and only takes a couple of minutes register. Aside from seriously reducing costs, the scheme also benefits the environment by reducing the number of cars on the road. And who knows, you may make new friends and contacts. For further information and to register simply click here or visit www.baesystems.liftshare.com. If you don’t have a baesystems.com email address you can still register on the scheme using the passcode BAE15 to register.
